I have read on the net that it is possible to grow a bonsai from a chest nut , so i planted one and i have managed to get it to a healthy young tree which is approx 10 to 12 inches high. As exspected the leaves from a chest nut tree are large and i am wondering if anybody knows a way of reducing the size of the leaves, i have been told that if you cut the leaves in half they will grow smaller .But im not sure this is right
