hi there just had delivered a 5 yr sycamore repotted this spring when and how should i tackle pruning to promote branch growth and leaf size reduction, regrds steve. |

Wow Big job a head of you. Sycamores take a very long time to get leave to scale if it will ever happen. Leaf pruning is done on this variety up until july 1 never after as new leaves may not develop and next years growth will not happen. I make it a habit to prune off any leaves that are too big almost any time, but not all leaves. Good Luck Would love to se pictures of your progress. http://jerseygard...ogspot.com |

You should not prune it due to the repotting, but sycamores are still very hardy |
